Last Thursdays is a great excuse to get out of the house and spend an evening on Alberta looking at art, shopping, eating, and mingling. On April 30th, Garnish is teaming up with other dress boutiques on Alberta to offer 15% off all dresses from 6-8pm only! Portland painter and illustrator Sam Tudyk and clothing designer Erica Lurie have collaborated their talents and ideas over the past few months fusing notions of art and design to create a unique collection of clothing. Sam designed two patterned fabrics, which Erica then used to create a line of ready to wear dresses and skirts. The exhibition of their creations will be revealed at an opening reception Friday, May 1st at Tilde. We would like to invite you to join us for wine, nibbles, and conversation from 6-8pm.

Located in Sellwood, Tilde, a modern lifestyle shop, offers a well-edited selection of women’s accessories and home decorative items that are created, hands-on, by either an individual artist or design group. Displayed in a home/gallery environment each product has an artist’s statement displayed nearby to reveal the story behind each item.
